Man Drowns in Old Saybrook, CT While Crabbing

New Haven Register: A Middletown man drowned Saturday in the North Cove section of the Connecticut River while, according to witnesses, attempting to retrieve a crabbing trap.

The victim, who rescue officials estimate had been under water for 68 minutes, has been identified as Donnie G. Perry, 51, of Glynn Avenue.
