Man Drowns While Raking Scallops on Nantucket

Cape Cod Times: A Nantucket man drowned Sunday [Oct. 25] while scalloping off Jackson Point, according to a press release issued this morning from the police department.
David Masters, 68, drowned while push-raking for scallops on the west end of the island. Police said emergency personnel responded to a report of a distressed man in the water off Jackson Point at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
