Man Rescued After Being Thrown from Boat in Woods Hole

The Cape Cod Times reports that a man who was thrown from his boat off Woods Hole, MA, on Sunday, May 8, was rescued by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution employees.

The unidentified man, who was in his early 20s, said he was thrown from his boat near Woods Hole Passage and swam half a mile before being rescued by employees working on the research vessel Atlantis. It was unclear how the man ended up in the water.
