David Kaiser, the longtime general manager of the Mattapoisett Boatyard on Buzzards Bay, and son Ned Kaiser, also an employee of the yard and marina, have purchased the assets of the business from Arthur and Alberta McLean, who owned the marina since 1962. The business will operate under the name Kaiser Yachts LLC d.b.a Mattapoisett Boatyard.
