ME Brook Restoration Seeks to Protect Rainbow Smelt

Once part of a 14’-high, 170’-wide dam, the chunks testify to the amount of work involved in restoring a small stream, Shorey’s Brook, which could soon be home again to rainbow smelt, officials said. The dam removal and stream restoration is nearly complete.
