Meeting to Focus on Cape Cod Shark Impact

CapeCodOnline: After a summer with more great white shark sightings than ever and an attack on a swimmer off Truro, town [of Orleans] and federal officials will meet Wednesday [October 24] to brainstorm solutions for next year.
Representatives from Outer Cape towns and the Cape Cod National Seashore will gather at 10:00 a.m. at Orleans Town Hall to discuss public safety, liability, intermunicipal communication and notification, as well as the economic effects of beaches being closed.
