New Boardwalk to Provide Wetlands Access in Sherman, CT

According to Newstimes.com, a 300’ wooden boardwalk is being constructed over the Wimisink marsh in Sherman, Connecticut part of a wetlands preserve owned by the Naromi Land Trust.
The boardwalk project is being funded by a $125,000 grant from the Housatonic River Basin Natural Resources Restoration project, and will be dedicated on Earth Day, 2013.
The wheelchair-accessible boardwalk starts near Route 39 and ends in a viewing platform in the wetland.
