The new Boston Whaler 330 Outrage is a hardcore, canyon-running center console fishing boat that’s also loaded with family-friendly features.
The 330 Outrage offers a teak picnic table in the bow that can serve lunch or drop to connect the cushioned bow platform to the wide, comfortable armchair lounge in front of the console, creating a huge sunpad.
When it’s time to fish, the table and cushions disappear into dedicated storage racks in the cavernous well under the lounge, along with other gear, including two 5-gallon castnet buckets in dedicated wells. And yes, with its cushion stowed, the bow platform offers a good base for throwing one of those nets over the smooth bow, which offers no obstructions, since the anchor windlass is underneath, with the stainless Delta anchor set just below the stem head.
There’s a 50-gallon live well in the transom to keep the baits lively. Add a spacious changing room with toilet and 6′ of headroom in the console (we tested it), and a tackle station in the helm seat.
