Jupiter’s 30FS has been upgraded to the “HFS” for 2016, and remains a serious fishing machine with the amenities of a luxury cruiser.

The boat’s new Hybrid Forward Seating arrangement gives boaters the ability to comfortably fish or stand all the way forward without giving up bow seating—or the 90 gallons of storage below those seats. With the addition of the optional wood-grain cocktail table, the bow seating area becomes the perfect spot for socializing. Install the optional filler pieces and removable backrests, and the area becomes a fully cushioned sun pad for lounging. Forward of the console is a seat with an 85-quart cooler and fold-down armrests, making this spot particularly comfortable.

Also new on the 30HFS is a freshwater sink in the head, larger lockable rod lockers, an updated console face and a newly designed dash switch panel.

Fishing features include a 45-gallon, sky-blue, lighted live well with clear lid, along with flush-mounted cabinets with tackle drawers to port and removable Plano boxes to starboard. In-deck lockable rod storage on either side of the console can hold up to 4 outfits each. There’s also room for 5 rods on the T-top, 4 on the rocket launcher and 5 below each gunwales on the snap-in rod racks. A 120-gallon, macerated fishbox in the cockpit provides plenty of room for the day’s catch.

The optional double helm captain’s chairs have a flip-up bolster that provide a comfortable leaning angle while standing and the perfect height while sitting. The console has room for twin 16” screens and a dedicated spot for a VHF command mic.
