Pursuit is unveiling 4 new models for 2016, and one of the first to make its debut is the OS 355. Powered by twin Yamaha F350s, the 355 cruises at 28 mph at around 4000 rpm, with a range of over 300 miles.
Hull platform extensions give the hull a sleek and stylish profile while also providing excellent water access (via a telescoping ladder) and maneuverability around the transom, with the added benefit of a port to starboard bridgeway. Hull-side windows, trim tabs, a bow thruster, a single-piece, laminated windshield, through-stem anchoring are just a few of the 355’s standard features. A large mechanical access hatch with sliding generator rails and well-placed filter/rigging access make it easy to perform routine maintenance.
Dedicated aft-facing cockpit seating, along with starboard-side, pull-out gunwale lounge seating and convertible transom seating can easily accommodate 5 guests adjacent to the entertainment center. An ideal socializing space can be created by deploying the retractable sunshade and inserting the removable cockpit table in the dedicated in-deck receiver.
Other cockpit features include an entertainment system with Bluetooth-compatible stereo, 7 premium speakers, amplifier and remote at helm. The entertainment center is equipped with a molded sink with hot/cold water, an electric grill, a cutting board, storage compartment, molded port and starboard aft-facing seats with insulated storage below, and a 1.3 cu. ft. bridgedeck refrigerator/freezer with fiberglass lid.
Fishermen will appreciate the 28-gallon recirculating live well, cockpit tackle center, port and starboard insulated fishboxes with dedicated discharge pumps, 12 rod holders, and a freshwater washdown with hot/cold valve.
At the helm, the fully adjustable captain’s chair slides fore and aft, and also rotates 180 degrees for a clear view of the cockpit. A flip-down step, dedicated footrests, two 12V outlets, a USB charger, a compass, a fire extinguisher are other standard helm features.
Below, the OS 355’s air-conditioned cabin features a molded hull liner with solid-wood tongue-and-groove floor accents, mechanical access, drainage and sound-damping insulation. The electrically actuated custom V-berth seating with fixed cushions easily converts to a queen-size berth. There’s also a solid-wood table with electrically actuated adjustable base. The full-size aft berth features a recessed, wood-framed 6” inner-spring mattress and opening port with screen, along with storage for 4 rods.
The cabin also comes with a digital-media-ready entertainment center with 28” LED TV and dedicated, amplified TV audio system. Other features include an in-floor storage locker, a cedar-lined hanging locker, a foredeck hatch with screen, 2 port lights with screens, premium stereo speakers, a 12V outlet, a dual USB charger, LED floor accent lights, a CO monitor and more.
The in-cabin galley (to port) features a microwave, a stainless refrigerator, a stainless sink with pressurized water, a 240V dual-burner glass cooktop, Corian countertop with backsplash, LED lighting, 2 storage cabinets with maple drawers, and a pantry locker with 4 shelves.
The head (to starboard) features a sink and vacuum-flush toilet with 22-gallon holding tank, macerator discharge pump, full-height storage cabinet with shelves, acrylic bi-fold shower divider and port light with screen.
