There’s a lot going on in New London, which really rolls out the welcome mat for boaters with its transient docks and moorings convenient to the downtown area. NEBO explores this thriving and historic city by land and sea, starting with a tour of the lower Thames River and the harbor. Along the way is a stop in Shaws Cove to chat with the folks at Crocker’s Boatyard and lunch at Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock.
Later, co-hosts Parker Kelley and Tom Richardson get a tour of New London Ledge Light, the New London Custom House Museum and historic Fort Trumbull, which offers commanding views of the lower Thames.
