New London, CT, to Add Transient Moorings

TheDaycom: It looks like New London, Connecticut, will soon be ready to start welcoming visitors from one of its best assets—its waterfront.
The Army Corps of Engineers is expected to soon issue the final approval necessary for the city to establish a mooring field for transient boaters off its waterfront park any day now, and when it does, the city will move quickly to secure 41 anchors with floats for mariners to tie up to.
