New Salt Marsh Maps Predict RI Sea Level Rise

Westerly Sun: [Rhode Island] State and local planning officials will soon have a new resource to guide them in protecting coastal wetlands.
The Coastal Resources Management Council has issued a new series of salt-marsh maps that show how they will be affected by sea-level rise. The maps, called the “Sea Levels Affecting Marshes Model,” or SLAMM, have been completed for all of Rhode Island’s 21 coastal communities.
