NH Bills Hope to Halt Great Bay Pollution
February 23, 2012
SeacoastOnlined: New Hampshire State Rep. Adam Schroadter said his 3 bills aimed at cleaning up the Great Bay estuary have been a lot of work, but progress is being made.
Schroadter (R-Newmarket) filed the bills as a way to reduce nitrogen getting into the bay. Over the last few years, increased levels of nitrogen in the estuary have been blamed for significant declines in the eelgrass and oyster populations.
