NH Boat Museum to Hold Season Opener

The New Hampshire Boat Museum in Wolfeboro invites the public to a special opening reception on Friday, May 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The evening will include entertainment, food, a cash bar, and a preview of the new exhibits. Tickets are $30 per person in advance or $35 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Black’s Paper Store, 8 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, or by calling the museum at (631-569-4554).
Live musical entertainment will be provided by the Interlakes Summer Theatre.
Refreshments provided by area restaurants including Wolfecatch, Downtown Grille Café, The Restaurant and others. Decorations provided by Linda’s Flowers.
New exhibits to be unveiled at the event include the Steamboat History Center, Welcome Center, Raceboat Regatta display to commemorate this year’s Wolfeboro Vintage Raceboat Regatta, local boatbuilder Goodhue & Hawkins with an original boat built in Wolfeboro, and parts of the M/S Mount Washington engines that were replaced last year.

The museum is open daily for the season beginning Saturday, May 28, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and Sundays 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
