NH Proposes Fishing License Fee Hike

SeaCoastOnline: A series of public hearings this month [September] will allow residents to comment on proposed increases in hunting and fishing license fees for 2016. The Legislature authorized the N.H. Fish & Game Department to make fee increases earlier this year.

Fish & Game will hold a local hearing Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Urban Forestry Center, 45 Elwyn Road, Portsmouth.

Increases are necessary to fill a $1.2 million hole in Fish and Game’s proposed budget for this biennium, said Fish & Game Executive Director Glenn Normandeau.
