North-South Rivers Opened to Clamming

Long Island Opens 303 Acres to Shellfishing

The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries has re-opened shellfishing areas in the North and South Rivers as of sunrise on Friday May 13, 2016. The beds will close May 29.

New to clamming? Join a guided clamming trip aboard a pontoon boat with the North-South Rivers Watershed Alliance on Saturday, May 28. Tours leave Roht Marine at 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Cost is $15 for NSRWA members, $20 for non-members and includes boat trip to sand flats. More info CLICK HERE
