Norwalk, CT, Oyster Fest Coming Up

TheHour.com: Hurricane-cum-Tropical Storm Irene played havoc with southwest Connecticut, but plans for the 34th annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival are right on schedule.
The event is scheduled to run Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11.
The Seaport Association posted a message to its Facebook friends.
“Thanks to our amazing partners and volunteers, we are on for next weekend’s Oyster Festival,” the message read. “So many of our residents are dealing with difficult times due to Irene—this festival just one testament to your resilience!”
