Norwalk, Mianus River Cleanup This Weekend

The Mianus River Chapter of Trout Unlimited is organizing a cleanup this weekend of the Norwalk River in Wilton on Saturday and the Mianus River in Greenwich on Sunday.

The river cleanups are a great event for families and children and a wonderful way to spend a day helping protect the local rivers.

After picking up trash for 2 to 3 hours, participants can grab their rods and head back to the water for some great early-season fishing!

Volunteers should bring gloves and waders if they have them. The chapter will provide trash bags, coffee and doughnuts.
