Norwalk Visitors Docks: City-run marina, close to downtown Norwalk. Offers dockage with electric and water.
Dockmasters are on duty from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm. All fees are payable with cash, Master Card or Visa at the time of arrival. Please check in with the dock master. Docking fees and hours of operations are as follows:
- Day block (8:00 am to 4:00 pm): $1.50/foot electric hook up is $3
- Night block (4:00 pm to 12:00 am): $1.50/foot electric hook up is $3.
- Overnight block (12:00 am to 8:00 am): $1.50/foot electric hook up is $3.
If you’re looking for a more upscale marine experience (think showers, laundry, WiFi, ship’s store, etc.), a couple of private marinas can take care of you. These include Norwalk Cove Marina, in East Norwalk, and Rex Marine, on the Norwalk River.
Norwalk Visitors Docks: Three-land launch facility with ample parking. Attendant on duty. $20/day.
Where to Eat
SoNo Seaport Seafood: Casual, eat-in-the-rough restaurant specializing in seafood favorites such as lobster, chowder, fried clams, and fish. Maintains several slips for boats up to 25 feet.
Harbor Lights (East Norwalk): Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Features a long dock for boaters and great sunset views.
Sunset Grille (East Norwalk): Adjacent to Norwalk Cove Marina.
Rowayton Seafood: On the Rowayton River. Dock space is limited, so it pays to visit during off-hours, if possible. However, the seafood is fresh, delicious and creative, and the sunset views are spectacular.
