Passengers Rescued from Drifting Boat in Stamford, CT

Fire officials in Stamford, CT, came to the aid of passengers who were aboard a boat that went adrift in Stamford Harbor late Saturday night.

According to The Hour, residents of the Palmer’s Landing condo complex called 911 after hearing the boat’s passengers calling for help as they drifted near t he hurricanes barrier.

The 40-foot boat apparently had an engine problem and had been drifting for about an hour before emergency crews arrived.

The boat was undamaged and no injuries were reported.
