Pilot Whale Dies After Chatham Stranding

CapeCodOnline: A pilot whale stranded and died on a beach near Old Salt Works Road [in Chatham, Massachusetts] on Saturday [March 9].

The 15’ whale was reported stranded at 9:40 a.m., said Jane Hoppe, assistant stranding coordinator for the International Fund for Animal Welfare Marine Mammal Rescue and Research team.
