New Tableware is Made for Boaters
December 13, 2013
Created by avid sailor and entrepreneur Aimee Marti, Starboard Collection’s new Carina line of tableware makes dining on the water a breeze.
Thoughtful features such as curved edges and non-slip bases help table settings stay put and reduce the likelihood of tipping and spilling. Stackable bowls and plates fit snugly together to store efficiently in a fraction of the space and for easy transport from shore to boat. Plus, the high-grade polypropylene construction makes the items shatterproof. The vibrant color palate of Nantucket Red, Canvas and Marine Blue encompasses the maritime spirit of the collection. Manufactured in the U.S., the Carina line currently includes bowls, plates, serving bowl, tray and an appetizer set.
The dining pieces are made from recycled materials, are BPA-free, melamine-free and top-rack dishwasher- and microwave-safe. The collection will be available for purchase online beginning January 2014.
From $36 (serving bowl) to $59 (large serving tray)
