Rhode Island Teens Saved from Leaking Boat

A Coast Guard crew from Station Point Allerton, Massachusetts, assisted a disabled clam boat 11 miles northwest of Provincetown, Massachusetts, Friday.

A small Barrington, Rhode Island boat containing six teenagers radioed for help recently after it began taking on water off Rumstick Point, according to an article on EasyBayRI.com.

Barrington Harbormaster Ray Sousa said the teenagers told responding harbor patrol and Coast Guard officials that they did not know what had happened, although he questioned that response once the boat was pulled from the water.
