RI’s Enright to Help Lead All-American Sailing Team

EastBayRI.com: Bristol, Rhode Island’s Charlie Enright is among the leaders of a new All-American Offshore Team, a project meant to give young American sailors offshore racing experience.

The team, an offshoot of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy’s Sailing Foundation, will campaign the STP 65-foot Vanquish in 4 key 2011 events: The Storm Trysail Club Around Block Island Race; the Annapolis to Newport Race; the Transatlantic Race (Newport to the Lizard, U.K.) and the Rolex Fastnet Race (Cowes, U.K. to Plymouth, U.K.).

Mr. Enright, a 4-time Intercollegiate Sailing Association All-American at Brown University, is the sailing team manager.
