Boston’s historic districts are among many U.S. historic sites being put at risk by sea-level rise, more frequent and intense storms, and the subsequent flooding, according to an article on EcoRI.org.

The article cites a report by the Union of Concerned Scientists that lists Boston among the 30 most at-risk historic areas across the country. The report says the city is one of several along the East Coast experiencing more frequent and severe coastal flooding and more intense storm surges.
