Save The Bay and the Rocky Point Foundation will host a cleanup along the coast at Rocky Point in Warwick, Rhode Island, which is now open to the public.

The cleanup will take place Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers should meet in the lot outside the main entry on Rocky Point Avenue, and should be able to do some heavy lifting and bending.

Volunteers should also bring work gloves and water. The drop site for the debris at this cleanup will be at the main entry to the path; volunteers should be able to carry a filled trash bag and be comfortable on their feet for the entire event.

Volunteers under the age of 16 must be with a parent or guardian. Due to the rocky coastline at the cleanup, this event is appropriate for children ages 8 and up.
