Sailboat Causes Runway Shutdown at Logan Airport

A 37’ sailboat that slipped its mooring in Winthrop, Massachusetts, on Monday, June 4, caused a runway shutdown when it came to rest on the rocks of Logan Airport.

The police and Coast Guard were eventually able to lower the boat’s mast and allow the runway to reopen.
