Sailors Detained After Anchoring Off Powerplant

Wicked Local Plymouth reports on 3 Norwegian sailors who were taken into custody after unwittingly anchoring in the exclusion zone of the Plymouth Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Monday night.

According to the report, the sailors attempting to enter Plymouth Harbor when they experienced engine trouble and sought shelter for the night outside the power plant. Following security protocol, plant personnel alerted the FBI, the Coast Guard and other enforcement agencies. The vessel was boarded and the sailors detained for questioning.
