Saugus, MA, Salt Marsh Restoration Project to Begin in Fall

WickedLocal Saugus: The sand has been trucked from the abandoned I-95 roadbed in East Saugus [MA] to replenish Winthrop Beach and plans are now taking shape to rehabilitate the surrounding salt marsh.

Last Wednesday [April 22] engineers and environmental consultants updated a large crowd that turned out at the Saugus Italian American Club to hear the status of the Ballard Street salt marsh restoration project.
