A massive influx of seaweed into Maine’s Rockport Harbor is making navigation difficult for boaters, according to an article on BangorDailyNews.com.

Rockport Harbormaster Abbie Leonard says the buildup of seaweed began over the weekend and has become worse during the week, in some cases tangling boat propellers. Leonard says she hasn’t seen a seaweed buildup like this in Rockport Harbor before.
