CapeCodToday: A dead 11’ pilot whale washed ashore at Head of the Meadow Beach in North Truro, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon. Another pilot whale washed ashore and died on Duxbury Beach Monday morning.

A crew of rescuers from the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) were on the beach to examine the whale. IFAW representatives are uncertain if this animal was 1 of 2 others seen with the pilot whale that washed ashore in Duxbury yesterday.
