Shark Advisory Issued on Cape Cod

The Cape Cod Times is reporting that the officials in the town of Chatham, Massachusetts, are warning people not to swim offshore along the east-facing beaches due to the high number of great white sharks seen in the area.

Swimmers are also warned not to swim within 300′ of seals. The town’s beaches in Chatham Harbor and along Nantucket Sound remain open.
