Shark Expert to Speak on Great White Research

Shark Attacks, Flips Kayak off Manomet, MA

A presentation about great white shark research off Cape Cod will be given at 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 9 at the Cape Cod National Seashore Salt Pond Visitor Center at 50 Nauset Road, a Seashore release stated.

State senior marine fisheries biologist Gregory Skomal will talk about how tracking technologies are expanding the understanding of the animals.

The free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore. However, a ticket is required due to limited space in the center’s auditorium.
