Shelton, CT, Riverwalk Pavilion a Go
April 4, 2012
CTPost.com: Construction has begun on the long-awaited Derby-Shelton Rotary Pavilion at the Riverwalk in the city’s downtown.
“It’s a go—finally,” said Shawn Fields, Rotary club president. He said digging to install pilings started about 2 weeks ago, and the project should be completed by June.
The 30’ by 80’ pavilion, which will cost about $328,000, is an open-air structure with a concrete-slab base with room to seat up to 200 people, he said.
