Shore-Access Lawsuit Goes to Trial in RI

A trial over public-access rights along Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island has begun in the state’s Superior Court in a case that could determine the rights of beachgoers, fishermen and property owners.

The trail began Tuesday, April 1, with the examination of archaic land records, according to the Providence Journal. A decision isn’t expected for several weeks.
