PatriotLedger.com: Plimoth Plantation’s Wampanoag Indigenous Program has been creating mishoons, traditional Native American canoes, for the past 40 years, but this year the hard work is being recognized.

On Thursday (August 29, 2013), a mishoon made this spring will be ready to leave for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
