The public is invited to attend the annual State of Wellfleet Harbor conference, scheduled for Nov. 7, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The primary focus of the meeting will be the planned restoration of the Herring River salt marshes, which is designed to restore natural tidal flow and allow migration of fish to the upper sections of the river.

The conference will also cover planning for the impact of climate change on shellfishing, as well as a presentation on last year’s unprecedented number of sea turtle strandings.
