Sunken Sailboat Recovered off Bar Harbor, Maine

Bangor Daily News: A sailboat that sank last week in Frenchman Bay after striking a rocky ledge has been recovered from the water, according to the Coast Guard.
The 24’ sailboat sank on the evening of September 6, after it struck Bald Rock Ledge, Lt. Megan Drewniak of the Coast Guard said Thursday. The owner and one other person were on board and were furling their sails to head back into Bar Harbor when the accident occurred around 6:45 p.m., Drewniak said.
