November 27, 2013

SeacoastOnline: [Exeter, New Hampshire] Selectmen Chairman Don Clement announced for the first time Tuesday night [November 19] that he supports totally removing the Great Dam that sits on the Exeter River in the heart of downtown Exeter.
“I think it’s the only alternative that meets all the criteria that I think is important,” Clement said during a Conservation Commission meeting Tuesday night in Town Offices. “One it meets the state mandate, two it reduces the flooding impact. Three it substantially improves the water quality.”
