Teen Surfer Rescued off Biddeford, ME

Portland Press Herald: A teenage surfer got a scare Saturday [April 13] when he was pulled by a riptide away from the shore at Fortunes Rocks in Biddeford [Maine], but he was quickly helped back to land by a fellow surfer.

Biddeford Fire Capt. John Pothier said a call came in at about 2:00 p.m. that a surfer was in distress.
