Teens in Rowboat Rescued in Casco Bay

Three teenagers, none of whom were wearing lifejackets, were rescued on Thursday, May 8, after their rowboat was blown into Casco Bay by strong winds.

The boys were rowing off the Falmouth town landing when winds pushed them offshore. Luckily, a local fisherman noticed the problem and notified Falmouth police. The town’s Marine Unit responded and towed the boat to shore.
