Sea bass season is upon us, and if you haven’t sampled this spectacular spring fishery in southern New England, you are missing out. The “bumpheads” are biting like mad in 15’ to 35’ of water in many coastal zones, providing fast action and plenty of tasty fish dinners.
In recent years, Buzzards Bay has earned a reputation as “sea bass central,” and New England Fishing’s Tom Richardson samples the action there each season. In the accompanying video, he shows how to target this abundant, family-friendly and great-eating species!
