The Cape Cod Times has posted a couple of short videos on the rehabilitation of cold-stunned sea turtles at the National Marine Life Center (NMLC) in Buzzards Bay, MA.

This fall, some 1,200 cold-stunned sea turtles washed up on the beaches of New England after being trapped by rapidly cooling water temperatures. The turtles have been cared for by the New England Aquarium and the NMLC, and many are being transported to Florida for release in the wild.

The videos show some of the Kemp’s ridley turtles swimming and being fed in a large tank at the NMLC.
