Wareham Week: Organizers of the fourth annual Wareham Oyster Festival received approval and a culinary request from Selectmen on Tuesday night.

“I hope you have more lobster rolls this year then last year,” Selectmen Chair Peter Teitelbaum told Linda Burke and Marie Oliva.

“That’s the plan,” said Oliva, the president and CEO of the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce.

Burke and Oliva sought permission for a one-day liquor license and approval to use town roads for the event, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be held on Main Street in the area of downtown.
