Warren, RI, Quahog and Arts festival This Weekend
July 15, 2011
EastBayRI: Take a stroll through Burr’s Hill Park this weekend, and check out original art and an eclectic mix of items for sale, sample seafood and listen to music.
It’s the twentieth anniversary of the Warren Art Festival in town, and twenty-eighth year for the Quahog and Seafood Festival. Although the two festivals are separately organized, they are held together at Burr’s Hill Park. Both events will take place rain or shine. The event has traditionally been well attended.
“We estimate between 12 and 15 thousand people visit the festival over the week-end,” Timothy Pray, a member of the Warren Barrington Rotary club and chairman of the festival, said.
