Warren, RI, Town Wharf in Need of Costly Repairs

EastBayRI.com: The Warren [RI] Town Wharf, acquired by the town a decade ago upon the passing of the late Luther Blount, needs structural repairs that could cost the town up to $1.5 million.
Warren Town Manager Jan Reitsma is asking for the money in this coming year’s Capital Budget. Though the cost of repairs could be less, Mr. Reitsma said the $1.5 million figure is a conservative estimate that will cover the town if the wharf’s issues are as extensive as engineers warned they could be.
