Waterfront Restaurants Badly Damaged in Storm

New Haven Register: Resilience may just be the secret ingredient at restaurants along Connecticut’s Shoreline. At the Beachhead Restaurant in East Haven, two hurricanes in a little over a year that flooded the floors aren’t enough to make Barbara Bucci or Cindy Fucci close their doors for long.
“It took us about 7 to 8 weeks to reopen last time. This time it’s going to be longer,” said Fucci. “But we will try again.”
