Wave-Monitoring Buoy Installed in Cape Cod Bay

A new wave-monitoring buoy has been installed in Cape Cod Bay approximately 8 miles east of the Cape Cod Canal entrance. The buoy, which emits a yellow flashing light, will measure wave height, direction, period, and sea-surface temperature.
The data, which is updated every 30 minutes, can be viewed on these following websites
