Westport River Group Names New Executive Director

SouthCoastToday: The Westport River Watershed Alliance (WRWA) in Westport, Massachusetts, has a new executive director, Matthew C. Patrick.
Patrick took over the post September 1 following his unanimous confirmation by the alliance’s board of directors. He succeeds Gay Gillespie, who served as executive director for 27 years.
The WRWA is a nonprofit environmental education and advocacy group formed in 1976 to conserve the natural resources of the Westport River and its 100-square-mile watershed.
